Two houses, not one place to stay
Kai Majad is guest accommodation in Neeme, forty minutes from Tallinn. There are two units - Mereloft and Kirjutuskuur - and they are not variants of each other but genuinely different places. A guest has to choose, not merely book.
The challenge
A small accommodation site competes with booking platforms where the same house is also listed. The one advantage of booking direct is that the site can show the house properly - a platform's standard template cannot.
The solution
Each house has its own view, its own photography and its own description, so the choice is made before the calendar appears. The booking button sits in the header on every page, because the decision forms beside the photographs, not in the contact view.
The location is part of the product
A fishing village by the sea is the reason people come. The location, the distance from Tallinn and the surroundings are therefore a view of their own rather than a line under the contact details - it sells the stay as much as the room does.
What changed
- The houses are distinguishable - a guest chooses deliberately rather than at random.
- Booking starts where the interest appears, not on a separate page.
