HEALTH CHECK
Find out what your site is quietly costing you.
A fixed-price review that looks at your website the way a visitor, a search engine and an attacker each look at it. What you get back is a prioritised list — not a printout from a tool.
A written report
Every finding with its reasoning, the evidence, and an assessment of impact. Readable by your own developer too.
Ordered by priority
Ranked by impact against effort, with the three that matter most called out separately.
A recorded walkthrough
A short video showing the findings on your own site. Shown, not just described.
A conversation
Thirty minutes for questions once you've had a chance to read it.
HEALTH CHECK
What gets checked
Conversion and user experience
- Whether a visitor understands what you offer within the first screen
- Placement, wording and visibility of the calls to action
- Form length, field logic and error messages
- Trust signals: references, contact details, terms
- The mobile experience on a real device, not just a browser simulator
Speed and technical condition
- Core Web Vitals from real user data where it exists
- Image formats, dimensions and loading strategy
- Blocking scripts and third-party weight
- Layout shift and render order
- Server response times and caching
Search engines
- Indexing and crawling: robots, sitemap, canonicals
- Titles, meta descriptions and heading structure
- Structured data and whether it validates
- Broken links and redirect chains
- hreflang, on a multilingual site
Accessibility
- Contrast and text legibility
- Keyboard navigation and visible focus
- Image alt text and form labels
- The main journey, walked with a screen reader
Security and maintenance
- Software and plugin versions, and known vulnerabilities
- Whether backups exist and whether they restore
- User accounts, permissions and exposed endpoints
- Security headers and HTTPS configuration
Measurement
- Whether analytics works at all, and what it measures
- Whether forms and calls are recorded as events
- Whether the data can actually support a decision
HOW THIS DIFFERS
Every finding is shown, not asserted.
Most audits are an automated tool's export with a logo on top. Here each point carries a screenshot, a measured number, or the request that actually fails. You can check it yourself — and so can your developer.
- We use tools, but a person reviews the output. An automated report doesn't know what your business sells.
- Findings are ordered by impact, not alphabetically. Out of thirty points, three usually matter.
- Where something is fine, we say so. A list where everything is red helps nobody.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
Fix it yourself, or have us do it
The report is usable without us — that's the point. If you'd rather we carried out the fixes, we quote from the findings and credit the audit fee against it.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do — it's a good tool and we use it too. But it measures one page and tells you what's slow. It won't tell you whether your form works, whether the checkout breaks on mobile, whether Google is indexing your pages at all, or whether an update three months ago quietly broke something. And it doesn't know what you sell.
Yes. Conversion, speed, SEO, accessibility and measurement don't depend on the platform. WordPress sites get an additional pass over plugins, versions and user accounts, because that's where the most tends to break quietly.
The report is ready within five working days of my getting access. If something delays it, you'll hear that in advance rather than on the deadline.
For a public site, nothing — the address is enough. If you'd like me to look at analytics or the admin as well, we arrange access separately. Without it I review from the outside.
Then that's the answer, and I'll say so plainly. In practice a review always turns something up, but where the findings are small I won't inflate them to make the report look thicker.
Yes. If you commission the fixes, the audit fee is credited against the quote, so you don't pay twice for the same work.
